Heatwave Eases Across NCR as Western Disturbance Keeps Mercury in Check Throughout the Week

In a major relief to the people of Delhi-NCR, the weather has become very pleasant. It clearly shows the impact of the Western Disturbance. People are feeling relief from the scorching heat and heatwaves. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 40°C throughout the week, with no likelihood of it exceeding this mark.

The Meteorological Department has not issued any warnings for the coming days, offering a sense of relief to the public. On June 23, the maximum temperature is forecast to be 40°C and the minimum 25°C, with partly cloudy skies.

A slight change in temperature may be observed on June 24; the maximum temperature is expected to be 39°C and the minimum 27°C, with partly cloudy skies. Weather conditions will remain similar on June 25, with a maximum of 39°C and a minimum of 28°C. Subsequently, on June 26, the maximum temperature is likely to return to 40°C, with a minimum of 28°C.

Cloudy conditions are expected to persist. On June 27, the maximum temperature is forecast to be 40°C and the minimum 29°C. Humidity levels are expected to range between 45% and 55%. Similarly, on June 28, the maximum temperature is predicted to be 40°C and the minimum 29°C.

Weather experts state that the influence of the Western Disturbance has mitigated the impact of intense sunlight and heatwaves. Additionally, there is a possibility of light rain and strong winds in some areas during the week, which could provide further relief from the heat.

The Meteorological Department has not issued any warnings for the period from June 23 to June 28, bringing relief to Delhi and the surrounding regions, including Greater Noida and Gurugram. This week has brought relief to people troubled by the scorching heat, as the maximum temperature is expected to remain around 40 degrees Celsius.
