In a post on social media, Sandhu said that IGL has played a key role in extending PNG connectivity not only within the city but also to outer and rural areas, contributing to improved access to clean energy for residents.
He also highlighted the company’s constructive role in addressing the recent gas shortage, noting that it worked in close coordination with the Delhi government to ensure smoother supply and operations.

The Lieutenant Governor further mentioned that he received a dividend cheque of ₹22.75 crore for the financial year 2025–26, reflecting the company’s financial performance and contribution.
He expressed optimism about the future, stating that he looks forward to deeper and more active collaboration with IGL to strengthen Delhi’s welfare and energy security.
