Delhi Metro Phase IV is one of the capital’s largest ongoing urban transport expansion programmes. The project is designed to extend metro connectivity to several underserved areas, improve last-mile access, reduce traffic congestion, and support sustainable urban mobility.

The inclusion of corridors such as Lajpat Nagar–Saket G Block and Rithala–Narela–Kundli is expected to strengthen connectivity between residential, commercial, and industrial regions while accommodating future passenger demand.

The consultancy contract is expected to:

  • Accelerate electrical infrastructure planning for upcoming metro lines.
  • Improve the reliability and safety of traction power systems.
  • Support timely execution of Delhi Metro Phase IV and Jaipur Metro Phase II.
  • Enhance regional connectivity through modern and energy-efficient metro infrastructure.
